About Today: How to Photograph Fireworks

The other day, I stumbled across a bunch of photographs from a few summers ago. Each seemed to depict the top of a bunch of people's heads, with smoke in the background. After a few minutes, I realized that the pictures represented my attempts to take pictures of fireworks.

How to Photograph Fireworks
The problem was that I was snapping photos either one second before or thirty seconds after the fireworks were visible in the sky. Thanks to this piece, I will hopefully no longer have this problem.
