Callum Moorin (@cmoorin): What do you think is in hold for the future of game consoles?
Adam "The Dead Pixel" Kovic (@InsideGaming): Realistically, I think we are in the middle or end of the last great console war. Right now game budgets are getting too big for most developers to deal with and publishers want to take less chances finically. While the technology is still somewhat new, OnLive and the iPad seem to be where publishers would like to see their games.
Personally I'm not the most excited about this, but I imagine a day where my grandchildren are gamers. They'll bring their iPad-52 over and wirelessly sync their "console" to my TV and use their cellphones, or whatever the hell they'll be, as controllers. Shortly after this moment I will throw my cane at Adam Jr.'s head for being a dumbass. |
