Your Daily YouSaid Question (bleep bloop bleep):

Rene Catalan (@seethemonkey): how do you feel about player passes with mortal kombat and batman arkham city

Adam "The Dead Pixel" Kovic (@InsideGaming): Not a fan Rene. Not a fan at all. It's pretty safe to say how the videogame industry feels about used game sales and guess what? They want to stop anything that takes money out of their collective wallets. While used game sales can be a good thing, I think big outlets took advantage of the system and we are now feeling the consequences.

If most consumers see two versions of Crysis 2, one for $60 and the other for $55, they'll probably going to go for the cheaper one; It's no wonder big publishers like EA are pissed. What I hate most about this though are the inane pre-order incentives that have spawned from this recent trend. It just feels like content is now withheld for the prospect of detracting from used game sales or making an extra buck.
