It's one of those bizarre paradoxes: As we get fatter, our obsession with dieting increases. Certainly, whatever we're doing doesn't seem to be working. (See previous re: getting fatter.) So how do you actually lose weight?

How to Lose Weight
This bums me out: "To lose one pound of fat, you must burn approximately 3500 calories over and above what you already burn doing daily activities." That seems like an awful lot of work for a pound, doesn't it?
