THE INGREDIENTS

7 or 8 slices of white bread--into 3/4" pieces
3 cups hot milk
2 beaten eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbs butter
1 1/2 tbs vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg [+ sprinkle over top when in pan]
1/4 tsp baking powder
