Great Tech Gadgets for Dad Don't panic, but another Hallmark-driven holiday is just around the corner. That's right, Father's Day is almost here. As a father myself, nothing is more important than a hand-made card. If, however, you want to add a little something extra for dear-old dad then this is the list for you. I actually own a couple of these gadgets and think they're all great fits for the tech-minded father--and all are under $300. ADVERTISEMENT  | Les Paul Google Doodle Gets Its Own Site Every time Google creates an amazing, yet time-wasting, Google Doodle, it ends up letting the entertaining graphic live beyond the typical single-day Google homepage position (remember Google Pac-Man?). I enjoyed playing the Les Paul Google Doodle Guitar as much as the next person, but I'm not so sure I'm happy to hear that this Doodle, too, will survive at its own URL. Mac OS X Lion has a Safari-only boot option Mac OS X Lion has a host of new features, including faster resume, versioning for Docs, integrated Mac App Store, multiple desktops and Mission Control, an updated web browser and more, but there are hidden features. One of them is the apparent ability to boot into a browser-only environment. Funny that sounds familiar; a lot, in fact, like a certain Google operating system option. What does this mean?
